Madame Chubb

Age: Approx 5

Breed: Potbelly

Size: Approx 140 Pounds

Gender: Female

Having come to Safe Harbor from a drug house (methamphetamine production), Madame Chubb had been exposed to multiple toxins. Our veterinarian believes that Madame Chubb had internal organ damage and tumors within her digestive tract. She passed away in her sleep on May 28th, 2014 as a result of her illness and toxin exposure prior to rescue. Her final days of life were filled with love, mud bogs, and fruit. She got to experience the life that all pigs should know, and leave in peace.

Madame Chubb is a curvy pink Potbelly gal.  She came to rescue after being seized during a drug bust in Tennessee.  Madame Chubb was in rough shape–overweight, eye infections, dirty and just feeling bad in general.   That said, this is a sweet and lovely pet pig.

Mme Chubb is litter trained, rides well in the car, does well with other pigs and dogs.  She is looking for an indoor/outdoor home as a pet (rather than a livestock animal).  Her adoption fee is $100, but she does need to go to a great home!  Her foster mom will be happy to provide post adoption guidance for proper care if the right family applies to adopt, but is new to pigs.
