Breed: Quarterhorse

Age: 5

Gender: Gelding

Height: 15hh

Rascal came in to Safe Harbor with Emma, Midnight, Joker and Max.  Rascal is not yet broke to ride, but has started ground work training.  The only reason the family that adopted his four herd-mates passed on him is because they felt Rascal would achieve a higher level of potential if he did not stay with his mother, Emma.  Rascal is gorgeous–big stocky build, beautiful paint coloring, and he is at the PERFECT age to start serious training.

He does love human attention, and is very playful and friendly.  Traits that should make training go easy when he is put under saddle.  This is a big beautiful QH boy with a nice foundation build.  Speed Sports are a great option for him, and based on his graceful movements, and nice trot our evaluators feel that he is a great English prospect!  Rascal’s adoption fee is $300.

My name is Rascal, and I came to Safe Harbor when my mom had to go overseas to serve our country. She’s in the military, but I’m not a war horse so I couldn’t go with her. In rescue they say I am green. It doesn’t make sense to me. I’m a tri-color paint QH and very handsome, and I have looked all over and none of my colors are green. They also say that my life will be better with training–so, for Christmas, I would like some school supplies. I hope you might choose me as your equine angel!
