Chance is a compact little Arabian Gelding. He came to Safe Harbor through Operation Good Shepherd, a neglect case with Animal Rescue Corps. Chance is gaining weight well in rescue, and he adores the 11 year old girl in his foster home. They instantly bonded her, and he follows her everywhere.
Chance has not been evaluated under saddle yet, but he does lead, load, tie and stand for the farrier. We believe he may be broke to ride, but his weight will need to be up a little more before he can be evaluated under saddle. His adoption fee is $300.
My name is Chance–a name given to me because I somehow was lucky enough to get a second Chance for a great life. I came to Safe Harbor through a neglect seizure in partnership with Animal Rescue Corps and this is my first Christmas ever! I thought having my own personalized halter that is all mine would be really neat. I’ve never owned anything of my own before. Because I am thin, I get cold easily, and would really love a fitted blanket. The last item on my list is just a year’s supply of dewormer. I was loaded with worms when I came to rescue and they stole all my nutrients and made me feel sick. Even though I don’t like the taste of dewormer I know it is helping me to get healthy and well. You can find my Christmas list by clicking here, or on the ornament picture above. I hope your Christmas is merry and bright! I can’t wait for Christmas day to come, so I can celebrate for the first time ever
