Registered Name: Mels Tuff Hollywood

Breed: Quarterhorse

D.O.B. 02/17/04

Tuff was a team roper that sustained a roping injury 2 years ago.  He was put to pasture to recover and has recovered.  Xray and ultrasound shows scar tissue around the tendon consistent with the injury, but nothing that diagnostics indicate that will create a soundness issue.

Tuff is built amazingly, has champion bloodlines, and is a great mover.  He is working back in to shape to work fully 5 to 6 days a week.  He LOVES people.  Tuff needs a JOB.  He is bored, and in his boredom he can get pushy, so we have our sights securely set on how his first week back in work goes.

Tuff is about to be cleared for adoption as a sound horse with an adoption fee of $2,500, which our favorite cowboy trainer says is an absolute steal–we’ve been advised that $5,000 is probably what fair market value is for this highly trained ranch horse who knows his way around cows and team roping.  His registration papers will transfer, and diagnostic vetting records will be provided to his adopter; pre purchase exam paid by buyer is welcomed.
